Decorate with memories

I’m not spending Christmas in my own apartment, that’s why I like to decorate it for Christmas early in advent to enjoy extra light and create my own traditions. So my tree is up all December even though I’m not used to that from childhood. And I decorate it with memories, mostly. An angel which joined our four week long roadtrip in New Zealand, a little santa my brother once made for me, a couple of decorated shells a former colleage once made, and so on. The tree gets even more meaning than it already represents.

True story

Almost twenty years ago I got to meet the real santa. I remember him well. He spoke of course many languages, also mine. He was just as we’ve learned. So relax, I can assure you, santa is very real.
